Filipe Mello Medeiros
Filipe Mello Medeiros officially joined the Noigroup Faculty in 2026, delivering Explain Pain courses and supporting the expansion of Noigroup education into Portuguese-speaking communities.
Filipe is a highly experienced physiotherapist with a strong commitment to integrating contemporary science with clinical practice. He completed his undergraduate degree in Physiotherapy in 2010, followed by postgraduate training in Kinesiology and Osteopathy. In 2016, he completed a Master of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology, reflecting his passion for bridging state-of-the-art theory with hands-on rehabilitation.
With a holistic and evidence-informed approach, Filipe brings extensive experience across musculoskeletal and sports rehabilitation. His clinical interests include shoulder rehabilitation, knee and ankle pathologies, sporting injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and the management of complex musculoskeletal presentations.
Alongside his teaching role with Noigroup, Filipe works as a Senior Physiotherapist at InterHealthcare on the Sunshine Coast and supports the physiotherapy and rehabilitation team at Physiosync in Noosa Heads. His clinical work is characterised by thoughtful assessment, clear communication and a strong focus on empowering people to understand and engage with their recovery.
Filipe teaches fluently in both English and Portuguese, and is excited to contribute to the global Explain Pain community through education that is scientifically rigorous, clinically relevant and deeply human.
