Catherine hails from Perth, Western Australia. After receiving her Bachelor of Applied Science degree in physiotherapy from Curtin University in 1982, she completed a MS degree at Boston University in 1987 with research in ergonomics. She continued her studies completing the Kaiser Orthopedic Residency Program in San Francisco in 1991.
Catherine joined the NOI team assisting teaching Mobilisation of the Nervous System from 1994 to 1998 before relocating to Boston to work in private practice. Her interests have focused on treatment of complex spine and musculoskeletal patients. She now enjoys her role as a clinical specialist in an outpatient hospital-based orthopedic and spine center which allows time both as a clinician and staff educator.
Free time is spent sailing and skiing with her husband and busy teenage daughter.
